I’m gonna feel stupid for asking this if I should already know what it is, but this was in the middle of a random sentence in a study on job satisfaction among correctional officers, and I don’t understand why it’s there or what the fuck it is.

I can’t even copy and paste it into Google.

Like, this is killing me. 

I mean, am I dumb? Am I a dumb person for not knowing why there’s a poorly drawn picture of a tooth-skull in this study?

I should mention, I didn’t read the whole thing. I usually just read the conclusions or results of a study and then go back and read it over if I find it interesting, so maybe this symbol is explained in the 20 pages preceding it (doubtful.) But I don’t find it interesting enough at 12AM to read it through, so I may never know.

I really can’t stand how confused I am right now, though. It looks slightly familiar too, but maybe that’s just ‘cause I’ve been staring at it for like 10 minutes now.

I’m way, way too tired for this jank.
